This is a traditional Carolina Reaper hot sauce. This is a fermented, full pepper purée, meaning that the oils aren’t pressed from the peppers themselves, and the heat thus dissipates fairly quickly. Despite the heat, the tomato/carrot base packs a lot of flavor, along with a sneaky sweetness that adds to any dish. This sauce is for serious hot sauce lovers only.
